From ‘Tech Focus’ to ‘Market Focus’: Approach of a team

As a typical engineering team, we are interested and educated in technology. Over the last years, it became obvious that this is not enough in order to have a long-term perspective: Competitors come up with innovative products and try to get a larger share of our universities’ IT budgets. The concepts of ‘marketing’ promise a solution here. - Our team currently tries to shift its perspective from a technical one to a more market-oriented mindset. This presentation explains how our team tries to tackle this shift and what experiences we do on this journey.
