Innovation on a Production Network

As Network services move out of hardware into software and as larger flows and more complex applications increase a multifaceted network will be required and new tools and operational capabilities will need to be developed, tested and proven before they are put into operation on a production network. Production networks are carrying live traffic and services assured by contractual SLAs and bound by all the Operational control required to manage a production environment. Creating a network and operational verification capability equivalent to the production environment without live traffic and SLA bound services and without Operational restrictions will allow for the effective development, assessment, testing & verification of new technologies, tools and applications and for the effective development, testing & verification of operational methodologies and migration approaches.
